Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago urges the Muslim Ummah to uphold dedication in the worship of Allah beyond the Ramadan period.
In a message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer Governor congratulates the Muslim Ummah across the globe on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
He reminds the Muslim Ummah that the teachings of Quran and Hadith, centred on peace, love, discipline, and humility, explaining that the worship of Allah is not only observed during Ramadan fast, but for lifelong .
While thanking Allah for the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, the farmer Governor notes that the celebration revolves around love, arms giving to the less privileged and peaceful co-existence with people of other religions.
He calls on them to use the period to also pray for enduring peace in Nigeria as a whole and Niger State in particular, as well as all the leaders to continue to serve humanity selflessly.
The Governor further restates his commitment to building a New Niger where everyone will have a sense of belonging.
