Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago showers encomiums on the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on his 88th birthday.
In a birthday message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor describes Chief Obasanjo as a great, patriotic and committed leader who used the best part of his years to ensure peace, unity, stability, and development of Nigeria, and the African continent.
He says based on the positive impacts the celebrant has made within and outside Nigeria, he has become a living legend, and a voice to reckon with.
The Governor observes that Chief Obasanjo is among leaders who have had very rare opportunities to serve the country both as a Military Head of State and Democratically elected President where he performed remarkably well.
He says the celebrant has undoubtedly written his name in gold, and he stands tall among great African leaders.
While thanking God for His limitless blessings on the life of the former President,the Governor attests that even at 88,the celebrant is still looking good and making more impacts on humanity.
He prays that God will continue to give Chief Obasanjo good health and wisdom to continue to mentor younger generations.
