NIPR Niger State Chapter has acknowledged and appreciated Niger State Government and Ministry of Works for their recent proactive approach to information sharing and public engagement concerning the ongoing infrastructure projects.
The Chapter Chairman Alhaji Mahmud Abdullahi MNIPR said the government had demonstrated a commitment to transparency by keeping citizens informed about project progress and challenges.
“The Ministry of Works recent engagement with the public, acknowledging the inconveniences caused by the projects and providing updates on mitigation measures and the resolve by government to promptly address citizen concerns and provide temporary relief measures, such as water supply, showcase a citizen-centric approach” the Chairman added.
The Niger State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIPR commended both Niger State Government and Ministry of Works for their efforts in promoting transparency, accountability, as well as public engagement.
“We urge them to continue this approach, ensuring that citizens remain informed and involved throughout the project implementation, he said.
