Niger State Government has opened discussions with one of Russia’s leading financial Institutions, Gazprom Bank Begin Talks with on agricultural investments.
The discussion is one of the Governor’s bold initiatives on his State visit to Russia to interact with investors especially in the agricultural sector.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago led the Niger State delegation on the critical meeting which centred on exploring investment opportunities for the State where discussions also focused on agricultural investment plans and financing solutions for equipment acquisition.
The partnership between Niger State Government and the Russian financial giants is expectedly to fine tune ways of strategic partnership that will further see both parties extend such partnership to capacity building and strengthening of local agricultural productivity.
The Governor’s visit to Russia is already yielding positive results for the State’s agricultural revolutionary program as the partnership with Gazprom Bank is set to braoden cooperation between the two parties that will pave way for more extensive deals.
