Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced Sunday 11th May, 2025 as the inaugural flight for Pilgrims in the State participating for 2025 Hajj Exercise.
The announcement was contained in a Statement issued by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, noted that the State will be having 2 flights as scheduled by UMZA Aviation Services who is the Airline assigned for the State.
He said the first flight will depart with 480 Pilgrims from Mashegu and Mariga local governments of the State from Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna at 8 o’clock in the morning prompt, followed by the second flight, which is also expected to depart shortly at 3 o’clock in the afternoon with Pilgrims from Shiroro, Mokwa and Borgu Local government areas respectively.
The Pilgrims are advised to arrive the Hajj Camp (CAILS Tudun Fulani Minna) today, Saturday,10th May, 2025 by 2:pm in order to allow for early screening and preparation for their airlift.
The Executive Secretary stated that the state government have concluded All arrangements to ensure a smooth and efficient airlift process for all pilgrims in the Niger state.
Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu assured of hitch free exercise and maintaining a prompt and timely passage of information of every development of the flight Schedules and advice the Public to follow all social media platforms of the Board for information updates.
