Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has advised the newly married couple to allow Allah to guide them in their new home.
The Governor gave the advice during the wedding Fatiha of Fatima Rufai Ahmad Chanchagi and her heartthrob Abdullahi Muhammad Waziri, held shortly after the Jumma’at congregational prayer at the National Mosque, Abuja.
The bride, Fatima Rufai Ahmad Chanchagi is the daughter of a friend of the Governor and a former House of Representatives Member, Rufai Ahmad Chanchagi, who represented Kaduna South federal constituency between 2011and 2019.
During the wedding Fatiha, Governor Umaru Bago stood in as the representative of the bride’s family where the sum of N300,000 was received as the bride price and the Imam, declared Fatima and Abdullahi as a couple
The Governor also enjoined the couple to continue to love each other, persevere and not allow any third party in their home.
He then prayed that Allah would bless the couple with all the blessings that come with marriage and grant them enduring peace.
The cleric led the congregation and well-wishers in a special prayer for the couple.
