Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to executing quality projects that directly impact the lives of the people across the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ahmed Idris, following the governor’s inspection tour of completed and ongoing projects in Birnin Kebbi on Friday.
According to the statement, Governor Idris stated that his administration remains people-oriented and would not be distracted by political criticisms from opposition elements. He maintained that his government would continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Kebbi State.
The statement quoted the governor as expressing satisfaction with the quality of work at the new extension of the College of Nursing and Midwifery in Ambursa and the Mega School project, which is reportedly about 70 percent completed. He commended the Ministry of Higher Education for its effective supervision of the projects.
“I want to use this medium to debunk the criticism from some opposition members who claim that my administration has not executed any project. The evidence is visible across the state, and the people can testify to what we have done,” the statement quoted him as saying.
The statement further revealed that Governor Idris had just returned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Executive Council meeting in Abuja before embarking on an unscheduled inspection of key infrastructure projects, including township roads and educational facilities.
The governor was also quoted as expressing confidence in divine support ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying: “My victory is in the hands of God Almighty, and no one has the power to change that.”
