The Niger State Government has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former Senator Ibrahim Musa, who represented Niger North Senatorial District.
In a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman, the government described the late senator as a patriotic statesman, a bridge-builder, and a committed leader who served with integrity and passion.
Senator Musa passed away on Thursday in Abuja after a brief illness, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service to his constituents, the state, and the nation.
The SSG extended the government’s condolences to the Emir of Kontagora, Alhaji Muhammad Barau Mu’azu II, the Kontagora Emirate, and the bereaved family, praying that Almighty Allah grants him eternal rest.
“The Government and people of Niger State mourn the loss of a distinguished leader who served with unwavering dedication. His death is a great loss not only to the Kontagora Emirate but to the entire state and the nation,” the statement read.
