The Global President of the University of Jos Alumni Association (UJAA), Dr. Gad Shamaki Peter, has expressed deep appreciation to Ambassador Nehemiah Mutfwang for his generous support in renovating and furnishing the UJAA President’s office.
Dr. Peter, who assumed office on May 3, 2025, as the 9th Global President of the Association, revealed that the office he inherited lacked the dignity, warmth, and executive touch befitting an association of UJAA’s stature.
According to him, a turning point came during a lunch meeting in Abuja with Ambassador Mutfwang, facilitated by Hon. Dan Kwada. During the discussion, Ambassador Mutfwang pledged to upgrade the office to reflect the excellence of Josites and to support the association’s vision.
“True to his word, Ambassador Nehemiah renovated and fully furnished the UJAA President’s office, giving it the class and excellence it deserves.
He went further to promise us a borehole—a gesture that speaks volumes of his generosity and commitment to our collective progress,” Dr. Peter stated.
He expressed gratitude to Hon. Dan Kwada for the vital connection and to Ambassador Mutfwang for honoring his word and standing firmly with UJAA.
The newly renovated office is scheduled for official commissioning in September as part of activities marking UJAA’s 50th anniversary celebration.
On behalf of the Executive Council and the entire alumni body, Dr. Peter extended heartfelt appreciation to Ambassador Mutfwang, noting that such support strengthens the vision and unity of Josites worldwide.
