Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has paid a condolence visit to his Kogi State counterpart, Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
The Governor, who was in Okene, Kogi State, to sympathize with the bereaved family, was accompanied by members of the Niger State Executive Council.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago encouraged his colleague to remain steadfast in faith and uphold the legacy of his late father.
The statement added that special prayers were offered for the repose of the deceased and for Allah’s comfort upon his immediate and extended family, as well as the people of Kogi State.
