Nigeria Union of Teachers, Niger State Council says it will continue to discuss with state government to ensure better working condition of primary school teachers in the state.
The state NUT Chairman, Comrade Akayago Mohammed Adamu stated this in a chat with news men shortly after a special prayer session organised by the Union at teacher House Tungan Goro Minna.
Comrade Akayago Adamu decried the level of neglect shown to teachers by the present administration, stressing that teaches are the least paid among the work force in the state.
He said the special prayer session was organised for schools and of the Union together and.
He said prayer is the solution for every problem,hence the need for teachers and the union executive to prayers for almighty Allah intervention.
The state chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Abdukarem Lafene described the special prayer session as a welcome development.
Comrade Abdukarem Lafene labelled the present administration as anti-workers, assuring that it will continue to dialogue with government towards actualising its demand or embark on indefinite strike.
