An Implementation Committee for the Etsu Yahaya Abubakar Foundation has been inaugurated.
The 9-member Committee which has the blessings of His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar CFR is headed by Barrister Muhammad Ndarani -SAN who is also the Hukunchi Nupe.
In his short opening remarks at the Committee’s inaugural meeting in his Office at Abuja, the Chairman, Barrister Ndarani told members that their appointment was based purely on merit, personal recognition as accomplished individuals in their chosen careers as well as their vast knowledge and wealth of experience.
The Committee Chairman also charged members to see their appointment as a call to service and therefore urged them to live up to their expectations.
Barrister Ndarani called on members to exhibit high level commitment by putting in their best to ensure the success of the Project.
The Chairman highlighted the Committee’s terms of reference to include but not limited to towards achieving Educational/ Infrastructural Development; promoting Entrepreneurship skills acquisition and Youth Empowerment and Sporting Activities; Capacity Development and Agriculture Initiatives among others.
In his closing remarks at the inaugural meeting, the Project Secretary, Alhaji Musa A. Ladan, who is also the Dan-Gata Nupe said he was optimistic that the Committee will succeed in its assignment in view of high profiles and caliber of members of the Committee.
Other members of the Committee include: Alhaji Muhammad Babatifin Mustafa, Dr Muhammad Kudu Abubakar, Prince (Engr) Abubakar Yahaya Abubakar, Dr Aisha Gogo Ndayako, Alhaji Salihu Tifi Shehu, Alhaji Muhammad Bako Bawa, Mallam Musa Ladan Badeggi.
