Director General Islamic Education Trust, Alhaji Arzika Rimau, has advised youths in Niger State to respect the efforts of their parents and always make them proud.
Rimau stated this at thirty sixth Neighborhood Youth Capacity Building Training Programme with the Theme, Positive Mentoring For Overall Development of Youth organised by IET in Minna.
Represented by IET Director of Liaison Services, Malam Ibrahim Yahaya, Rimau said the organisation is concerned about the future of youths in the state, describing the trainees as the ambassadors of the Trust.
The guest speaker, Professor Abdulkareem Hambali Saka of Federal University of Technology Minna urged youths not to allow politicians to divide them along religious lines, charging them prioritize humanity above all.
Similarly, Victoria Ndagi, reminded girls and ladies in the state to have the fear of God, urging parents to love their neighbors, adding that without genuine love for neighbors one’s faith is not complete.
Some participants Umar Abdulkadir Sallawu and Emmanuel Pius Wakili, urged well meaning Nigerlites particularly the elites to support IET in reshaping the future of youths in the state.
