Farmer Governoror Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State was among Families, Friends and Well Wishers that witnessed the wedding Fatiha of his Deputy Chief of Staff, Abubakar Sadiq Yusuf and Madina Ahmed Abdulkadir.
The wedding Fatiha took place at the bride’s family residence, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.
The Farmer Governor who is also an uncle to the groom, assured the bride and her family that they will not regret the relationship established with both families.
He said the groom is a well-cultured and respectful person and will make a good husband to his bride.
The Farmer Governor prayed for peace and blessings of Allah in their union.
The wedding Fatiha was coordinated by Imam Inuwa Abadulkadir where he called on the couple to be patient with each other.
He also advised the groom to ensure he cater for his bride’s needs as she is now his responsibility.
The Imam then announced the payment of N200,000 by the representative of the groom’s family, the Benu Nupe, Alh. Yusuf Usman as the bride price while Alh. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir on behalf of the bride’s family, acknowledged the receipt of the money.
Imam Abdulkadir subsequently pronounced them as husband and wife.
Special prayers were made for the couple by some Islamic scholars from Minna and Kaduna.
