Member representing Katcha constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly, Abdulmalik Bala Yakubu has assured of his unflinching support to all Community Development Associations with genuine initiatives that would move his constituency forward.
He gave the assurance when the officials of Badeggi Development Association led by the National President, Alhaji Musa Ladan Badeggi paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the Assembly Complex in Minna.
Abdulmalik Bala Yakubu assured readiness to partner with Community Development Associations willing to embark on grassroots development projects, programmes and activities that would have direct bearings on the lives of the people of his area.
The legislator affirmed that his office is making arrangements to embark on oversight functions to rural and semi-urban water supply installations to assess their level of performance, in order to restore and enhance its effective operations.
Abdulmalik Bala Yakubu who is the Chairman, House Committee on Water Resources and Dams Development in the State House of Assembly requested the leadership of Badeggi Development Association to forward to his office the statuses of both Badeggi Water Works and Badeggi Rice Mill to enable him initiate immediate actions for their quick reactivation.
The law maker however assured the leadership of Badeggi Development Association that he would do everything possible to implement eighty percent of all its requests before his tenure elapsed, thanking the officials of Associstion for their visit.
In his address, the National President of Badeggi Development Association, Alhaji Musa Ladan Badeggi told the member representing Katcha constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly, Abdulmalik Bala Yakubu that they were in his office to appreciate him for his support to Government Day Secondary School, Badeggi and other forms of assistance to people of the area.
Alhaji Musa Ladan Badeggi who is also the Matawallen Badeggi assured the legislator of the Association’s willingness to partner with his office in the areas of human capacity development, youth and women empowerment initiatives as well as other development indicators that would impact positively on the lives of the people of Badeggi and its environs.
