ETSU EVUTI SETS UP COMMITTEES TO ADDRESS ADDRESS EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENTAL DEFICITS IN ITS COMMUNITIES

The Evuti community in Lapai Local Government Area of Niger state says it is embarking on the rehabilitation of some classrooms of the Evuti Central Primary School; the Alma Mater of majority of Evuti elites that have suffered dilapidation.

The Etsu Evuti, HRH, Hon. Justice Idris Muhammadu Jiya Evuti (rtd) confirmed this during the Pre Ei-del-Fitr Sallah Council meeting which is usually held annually in his Palace, a night before the Sallah Day.

The Etsu Evuti said to actualise this laudable project, a Committee will soon be set up that will be made up of professionals and other relevant stakeholders which will work out the modalities of financing and execution of the project.

The Etsu Evuti further revealed that, another Committee will also be constituted to handle the construction of a modest classroom for the Women Islamiyya Class headed by Hajiya Maimuna Isah Etsu Musa Evuti which is presently being conducted under Tree shade at Evuti Central Primary School.

The Etsu Evuti reiterated the overall significance of the educational projects which will undoubtedly enhance  conducive learning atmosphere and usher in meaningful development into the community.

The Etsu Evuti used the occasion to call on the Youths and the community in general to continue to be law abiding and live in peace.

The  Etsu said peaceful coexistence is a prerequisite for community well-being, wealth creation, growth and expansion, hence, Evuti Communities must pursue peace at the maximum level.

He warned sternly that, henceforth any Youth found causing chaos in the community will be made to face the full wrath of the law.

To also proffer a lasting solution to the perennial crisis bedeviling Evuti community, HRH, Hon. Justice Idris also constituted a 9 Man Committee under the leadership of Tsadu Evuti,   Mallam, Ndanusa Karamin Goro Agbasun with other eight members drawn from the (8)Quarters of Evuti.

The Etsu Evuti urged the Committee to carry out their assignment with all sense of responsibility  and with the utmost fear of Allah SWT.

The Etsu Evuti prayed Allah SWT to accept all the acts of IBADAH offered by the inhabitants of Evuti during the Ramadan fast and reward them most abundantly.

He also prayed Allah SWT for repose of the souls of the community members that have passed on, most especially a senior cabinet member and an elder state man, the late Nakorji Evuti, Mallam. Yakubu Wakili Saba who died midway the last Ramadan fast.

To fill up the vacuum occasioned by the demise of Nakorji Evuti, the Etsu Evuti-in-Council has approved a cabinet reshuffle and conferment of new titles as follows;

1. Mal. Adamu (Yaboni) Ibrahim Efunibe, formerly WAKILI, now NAKORJI.

2. Mal. Salihu Shuaibu Emiko, formerly TAKA now WAKILI.

3. Alh. Saidu kasumi Edamokaji Atoko, formerly, CHATA now TAKA.

4. Mal. Umar Adamu Darukoci, the new CHATA.

5. Dr. (Pharm.) Abdulhakim Abubakar, the new KAIGAMA.

6. Mal. Abdulrahman Shuaibu Dagagi, the new SWAJIYA.

7. Mal. Isah Shuaibu Wali, the new SARKIN ADO
