The Emir explained that the basic objective of the Festival, which was proposed to hold every year beginning from this year, 2024, is to showcase and preserve the traditions of Gwandu Emirate; promote unity and understanding among its people; and provide opportunity for teeming youths, other Nigerians and members of the International community to see and experience the Emirate’s rich cultural heritage, specifically its trades, games, costumes and the sterling literary works of Mallam Abdullahi Fodiyo.
