Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has inspected the ongoing construction of the Suleja-Madalla dual carriageway project, where he reiterated his administration’s commitment to massive infrastructural development.
The Governor, while inspecting the project, interacted with the contractors handling the project alongside the Chairman of New Niger Development Projects Mustapha Abubakar Bida, Commissioner for Works, Suleiman Umar.
He reiterated that quality must be maintained as the State Government will not compromise standards.
The Governor also interacted with some residents and encouraged them, especially the youth to take advantage of the ongoing project and provide services that would earn them money.
The Suleja-Madalla dual carriageway is part of the project to be executed by the farmer Governor under his Urban Renewal policy.
The project when completed would provide additional lanes for vehicles to ease movement of goods and services, improve transportation infrastructure and safety as well as enhance socio-economic development and quality of life for residents of the town and businesses.
