Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has congratulated his Lagos State counterpart, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila as they mark their birthdays.
While Governor Sanwo-Olu clocks 59 years, Gbajabiamila turned 62.
In a statement,by the Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor described his Counterpart Sanwo-Olu as an inspirational and courageous leader who has remained focused on making a positive impact on his people.
He said the Lagos State Governor is no doubt a valuable asset to not only Lagosians but also Nigerians.
The Governor acknowledged that Sanwo-Olu is a worthy ally in the voyage of service to humanity, and their shared vision of supporting President Tinubu’s Agricultural policy to boost food security has made the two States to enter into partnership on Agriculture under the Produce-for-Lagos initiative of the Lagos State Government.
He prayed to God for more years in good health to sustain his good work for the people.
Similarly, the Governor described the immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives as an astute politician and a patriotic Nigerian.
He observed that Gbajabiamila has demonstrated positive leadership, diligence, and commitment to nation-building.
The Governor said the numerous landmark legislation that were passed under the leadership of Gbajabiamila as the then Speaker of the House of Assembly are testaments of his unwavering determination to deepen democracy and ensure good governance.
He also noted how the Chief of Staff to President Tinubu has continued to diligently carry out his duties, for the actualisation of the Renewed Hope agenda of the President.
The Governor prayed for good health, more wisdom and strength for Gbajabiamila as he continues to support the President for greater Nigeria.
