Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has described the retired Deputy Comptroller General (DCG) of Nigeria Custom Service (NCS), and Galadiman Nupe, Aliyu Galadima Saidu as a man of honour and integrity.
The Governor stated this at a retirement reception in honour of the retired DCG of Custom, organised by his family and friends in Abuja.
Governor Umaru Bago noted that the retired DCG of Custom carried out his duties diligently during his active Service.
He said the State is proud of the achievements of the retired DCG of Custom for his meritorious service to the Nation with dignity, and retired with a clean record.
While stressing the need to always celebrate and acknowledge individuals who contribute greatly to the development of the Country, the farmer Governor announced that the State Government will organise a similar event for the retired DCG in Minna soon.
He used the forum to call on the younger generation to follow the footsteps of the retired DCG of Custom and aspire to be greater.
