Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago is among the guests that witnessed the wedding fatiha between the Member representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency, Saidu Musa Abdullahi and Zainab Abdullahi.
The wedding fatiha, conducted by Imam Alhassan Athaul-rahaman, was held at the family residence of the bride in Jos.
Imam Athaul-rahaman confirmed the payment and receipt of N250,000 as the bride price and pronounced them husband and wife.
Alh. Muhammad Sambo Haruna represented the bride’s family while Alh. Dalhatu Aliyu, Makaman Nupe represented the groom’s family.
Special prayer was made for the couple to enjoy a peaceful and blissful union.
The Governor, his entourage and the newly wedded couple thereafter returned to the couple’s residence in Abuja, where another session of prayer was observed.
He encouraged the couple to be patient and show understanding with each other as well as allow Allah to lead them in their union so as to attract His blessings.
Among the entourage of the Governor were Abdullahi Idris Garba, member representing Kontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu Federal Constituency, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Abdullahi Usman Gbatamangi, members of the State executive council and other top government officials.
