The Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger state council of Traditional Rulers Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has called for unity and peaceful coexistence among different ethnic groups and religious groups in Niger state.
The Etsu Nupe said this in his goodwill messages at the third Nko Sallah celebration of Nupe association of Maikunkele held Babandabo Football Field Maikunkele in Bosso Local Government area of the state.
He maintained that the unity of the state should remain uppermost in the minds of every ethnicity for the progress and development of the state.
Also speaking The District Head of Maikunkele Alhaji Sulaiman Dada said both Gbagyi, Nupe, and other tribes in the area remain united for the peace and prosperity of the area, while commending the Nupe association for the success recorded So far.
Niger state APC Deputy Chairman Alhaji Zakariyahu Rabba appealed to Nigerlites to continue to pray and support the current administration of governor Mohammed Umar Bago to enable him deliver on his new Niger agenda that will reposition the state.
In His Remarks Chairman Nupe Association of Maikunkele Who Is Also Chairman of APC Lavun Local Government, Alhaji Idrisu Saba Jipan said all Nigeria needed as a nation is socio-economic, religious and ethnic unit.
Alhaji Idrisu Jipan, appealed to Nupe youths to desist from any social vices and be of good Ambassador at all times.
