Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago mourns the passing away of his brother-in-law, and former Chairman of Chanchaga local area in the Second Republic, Alh. Yusuf Datti.
In a condolence message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor describes the death of Alh. Datti as a huge loss to the entire State.
He acknowledges the contributions of the deceased, in different capacities, to the growth and development of the State.
The Governor observes that the demise of Alh. Datti has no doubt created a vacuum that can only be filled by Allah the almighty.
While commiserating with the immediate and extended family members of the deceased, farmer Governor Umaru Bago encourages them to accept the demise of Alh. Datti as an act of Allah and remain steadfast in His will.
He prays that Allah will grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus and comfort all those affected by the loss.
The Late Alh. Yusuf Datti was married to the sister of the Governor Hajiya Rakiya Datti
He served as the Chairman of Chanchaga local government during the Second Republic, and held several other key positions in the State, including Board member, Niger State Water and Sewage Corporation ( NISWASEC ).
