Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago mourns the District Head of Malale, Alh. Abdullahi Sabi, father to the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi.
In a condolence message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor notes the contributions of the late District Head to the growth and development of not only Borgu Emirate, but the State at large.
He describes the deceased as a pious man who dedicated himself to the service of Allah and humanity.
The Governor observes that his demise has created a vacuum that can only be filled by Allah.
While commiserating with Borgu Emirate, the Minister of State and his immediate as well as extended families , Governor Umaru Bago urges them to accept the loss as an act of Allah.
He encourages them to be consoled by the fact that the deceased lived a good and fulfilled life.
The Governor prays that Allah will make Aljannah Firdausi the final abode of the deceased and comfort the family of late Alh. Sabi, the Emir of Borgu, and all the people of the Emirate.
The District Head of Malale, late Alh. Abdullahi Sabi was the pioneer Chairman of Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa Ikamatul Sunnah (JIBWIS) of Borgu Kingdom.
He left behind many children, among whom are the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi and the Director of Operations Hydroelectricity Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC), Iliyasu Abdullahi.
