Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru has paid a condolence visit to the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi over the demise of his father and District Head of Malale, Alh. Abdullahi Sabi.
The Governor who was at the Abuja residence of the Minister of State, was accompanied by his predecessor and Senator representing Niger North Senatorial District, Sen. Abubakar Sani Bello, his counterpart representing Niger East Senatorial District, Sen. Muhammad Sani Musa.
Others are some House of Representatives Members from the State, members of the State Executive Council and some top government officials.
Governor Umaru Bago described the late District Head of Malale as a father indeed, who lived a good life and that his legacies would live on.
He used the medium to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of Sen. Aliyu Sabi for his remarkable achievements as a Minister of State pointing out that Niger State is proud of him.
In his response, the Minister of State for Agriculture and food Security, Sen. Aliyu Abdullahi thanked the Governor and the people of Niger State for the overwhelming love and support to his family in their moment of grief.
He described his father as a disciplined and veteran politician who always advise him not to play politics of bitterness.
The Minister of State appreciated Allah for the impactful life his father lived.
Niger State Governor and Senator representing Niger North Senatorial District, Sen. Abubakar Sani Bello and his Counterpart representing Niger East Senatorial District, Sen. Mohammed Sani Musa in their separate remarks on behalf of all the Federal lawmakers also condoled with the Minister of State and his family.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
