Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has commiserated with the Emir of Patigi, Kwara State, Alh.Ibrahim Umar Bologi II over the death of Galadiman Patigi and former House of Representatives Member representing Edumoro/Patigi Federal Constituency, Alh. Aliyu Bahago Ahman Patigi
The Governor Umaru Bago who paid a condolence visit to the family members of the deceased, urged them to take solace in Allah as He gives and takes life at His will.
He described the deceased as a man of dignity who played a significant role in nation-building, especially when he served as a lawmaker in the green Chamber between 2007 and 2019.
Governor Umaru Bago also recounted and commended the contributions of late Aliyu Ahman Patigi in the Education sector, particularly the establishment of Ahman-Pategi University.
While praying to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, and grant him entry into Aljannah Firdaus, the farmer Governor also prayed for Allah’s comfort to the immediate and extended family of the deceased as well as the Patigi Emirate Council.
The Late Alh. Aliyu Ahman Bahago founded Ahman-Pategi University, and a three-time House of Representatives Member, representing Edumoro/Patigi Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2019.
He is also a brother to the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Alh. Mu’azu Hamidu Jantabo.
