Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago mourns the passing of the Chief Imam of Agaie, Sheikh Muhammadu Kudu Agaie.
The Governor through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, extends his heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Agaie, Alh. Yusuf Nuhu, Council members of the Emirate, immediate and extended families of the deceased.
He describes the loss as a monumental one, not only to the people of Agaie, but Niger State as a whole.
The Governor recounts how the late Chief Imam made significant contributions in ensuring peace and stability as well as the growth of Islam in the Emirate within the short period he served as the Chief Imam of Agaie.
He says the good memories, especially the positive impact on humanity made by the deceased, cannot be forgotten in a hurry.
The Governor prays that Allah will forgive the shortcomings of the late Sheikh Muhammadu Kudu Agaie and admit him into paradise.
He also prays that Allah will comfort the Emir of Agaie, Emirate Council members, the deceased family and the entire people of Agaie local government area.
