The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has inaugurated the 2025 Council Electoral Committee with the charge to conduct an election away from the usual, using electronic voting system for all eligible voters that will be present at the venue of this year’s election and AGM in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Inaugurating the 13-man Committee yesterday, the President, Chairman of Council of NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku tasked Committee on strict adherence to established rules of the Institute and ethical standards, emphazing effective engagement with every member to ensure widespread understanding and participation in the voting process.
According to him, the 2025 Council Election is expected to stand as a yardstick for the Institute’s future elections in terms of inclusiveness, transparency and accountability.
The Committee is made up of the following members:
