The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir idris, Kauran Gwandu has commissioned solar street lights at Fakai Local Government Area provided by the State Commissioner for Agriculture, Alhaji Shehu Mu’azu.
The streetlights project is part of humanitarian gesture of the commissioner to enhance the living standard of his people.
Commissioning the project, the governor commended the commissioner for his humanitarian service to the people of his constituency and urged other elected and appointed officials to emulate the good gesture.
Gov. idris said his administration needed people like Shehu Mu’azu, who would do everything possible to bring development to their people.
Earlier, the commissioner informed the governor that the solar street lights covered about eight kilometers, and assured the governor that he would bring more development to his people.
The gesture, according to him, is to compliment the state government’s efforts in executing projects that have direct impact on the life of the people.
