The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Affairs and Strategy, Alhaji Muhammad Nma Kolo has disclosed that plans have been concluded to reintroduce Ward Development Projects (WDP) in all the 274 wards of the State.
He stated this when Executive members of Badeggi Development Association led by its National President, Alhaji Musa Ladan Badeggi paid him a courtesy visit in his Office, yesterday.
Alhaji Nma Kolo said that the Farmer Governor, Alhaji (Dr) Mohammed Umar Bago is so passionate about equitable distribution of dividends of democracy at the grassroots level of the State.
The Special Adviser who is also the Jawon Minna said what the Governor needs most at the moment from citizens of the Niger State is their continued prayers and support to enable the prrsent Administration actualize its New Niger Agenda.
He promised to deliver the Association’s letter of requests to the Farmer Governor, Alhaji Mohammed Umaru Bago for his attention and immediate intervention.
The Jawon Minna thanked members of the delegation most especially the Hakimin Badeggi who is also Tafidan Raba Nupe, Alhaji Umar Sanda Abdullahi for being part of the visit and assured the Association of of his unflinching support at all times.
Earlier in his address, the National President of Badeggi Development Association, Alhaji Musa Ladan Badeggi said aim of their visit was to thank and appreciate the Special Adviser for carrying along non-governmental organizations and community development associations in the State.
Alhaji Musa Ladan Badeggi used the occasion to call on the Farmer Governor of Niger State, Alhaji (Dr) Mohammed Umaru Bago to reintroduce the Ward Development Projects (WDP) in all the twenty five Local Government Areas of the State.
The National President of the Association who is also the Matawallen Badeggi assured that the reintroduction of Ward Development Projects (WDP) would not only be complemented by activities of serious minded Community Development Associations in all the 274 wards but it would accelerate quick delivery of the New Niger Agenda of Mohammed Umaru Bago-led Administration in the State.
