Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has donated N10 million to Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’Ikamatis Sunnah JIBWIS to enable the Islamic Organisation address some of its challenges.
Governor Umaru Bago made the donation at the annual National Convention and launching of educational development appeal fund of the Organisation held in Abuja.
The Governor who was represented by the Director General Bureau of Religious Affairs, Mal. Umar Faruk Abdullahi acknowledged the critical role being played by the Islamic Organisation in the propagation of Islam and promised to continue to support the Organisation’s goal.
He used the medium to call on religious leaders to continue to preach peace to their subjects and solicit prayers for the progress of the Country.
