The acting Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba was among thousands of symphatisers that thronged the Minna residence of retired Supreme Court Judge, Justice Musa Muhammad Dattijo for the three – day prayer session for his late son, Aliyu Dattijo.
The Deputy Chief Imam, Malam Isah Jibril led other Islamic Scholars in offering a series of prayers for the deceased and for Allah to grant him mercy and entry into Aljannah Firdaus.
The acting Governor, who commiserated with Justice Musa Dattijo and his family, urged them to keep faith in Allah despite the loss.
He described death as an inevitable end to all living souls, adding that it is not a respecter of anyone, regardless of status or might.
Comrade Yakubu Garba was accompanied by the Secretary to the State Government, Alh. Abubakar Usman, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alh. Abdullahi Usman Gbatamangi, Commissioner for Justice Nasiru Mu’azu among other State Executive Council members and principal Government Officials.
Also at the Fidau include Former Nigeria’s First Lady, Justice Fatima Lami Abubakar, Ambassador Zubairu Dada and several retired and serving Chief Judges and other legal luminaries from across the Country.
