Former Vice President and the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party during last presidential election l, Atiku Abubakar has sympathised with President Bola Tinubu after the he slipped at the Eagles Square during the 2024 Democracy Day celebration.
The president momentarily lost his footing but quickly regained his balance with support from his aide-de-camp (ADC).
The event at Eagles Square was part of a series of events to mark the country’s Democracy Day celebration.
Former Vice President, Atiku expressed his empathy over the incident, hoping that all is well with the President.
Atiku who made this available to the public on his verified X handle said, “I sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day. I do hope that all is well with him. -AA.”
It would be recalled that President Tinubu early on Wednesday June 12th 2024, slipped at the Eagles Square while boarding the parade vehicle.
