Niger State Government has sought the collaboration of the Nigerian Army in executing the ban on illegal mining in the State. The Commissioner of Police Niger State Command CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman fsi along with Commissioner of homeland security, and Commissioner of minerals resources have visited the scene of the landslide on African Minerals Mining site in Galadima District via Erena, Shiroro LGA. The engineer at the site confirmed that 20 persons were trapped under the rock but 6 persons have been rescued.
