Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced upward review of the 2024 Hajj Fare from the initial 4.699M to 6.617M. This announcement followed the pronouncement by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria(NAHCON) today, that the increase in the Hajj fare was occasioned by the instability in the exchange rates of dollar to naira on a daily basis. In a statement issued by the Executive Secretary Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, he noted that by this pronouncement the intending pilgrims who have completed their earlier final fare of 4.9m are expected to make additional payment of 1,918,032.91…

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) registration by two weeks. The board explained in a statement by its spokesman, Fabian Benjamin,that the action was aimed at enabling all candidates desirous of registration to do so. The West African Examinations Council, Nigeria has released results of the first-ever Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates. The examination took place between Wednesday, January 31, and Saturday, February 17, 2024. A total of 8,139 candidates sat for the examination at 140 CBT centres nationwide.
