Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has commissioned five buses to be run for township commercial service in Arugungu Local Government Area of the state. Gov. Idris commissioned the buses on Monday at a reception organised by Arugungu APC Supporter Forum in honour of the National Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Suleiman Argungu. A Team of Legal luminary from the Nigeria Council of Legal Education has visited the new Faculty of Law at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai for facility verification. The team which was led by the Director – General of the Council, Professor Isa Hayyatu Chiroma (SAN) was to verify the University’s facilities in both the old and newly constructed Law Faculty buildings. A total sum of N1.681 trillion, being April 2025 Federation Account Revenue, has been shared to the Federal Government, States and the Local Government Councils. The revenue was shared at the May 2025 Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting held in Abuja. The N1.681 trillion total distributable revenue comprised distributable statutory revenue of N962.882 billion, distributable Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of N598.077 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of N38.862 billion and Exchange Difference N81.407 billion.
