President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said his renewed hope agricultural mechanization is yielding results with the launching of over 2000 tractors and other agricultural implements. He said his administration procured over 2000 tractors, 50 industrial land preparation equipment, 12 fully equipped mobile workshops, 8000 ploughs specialised farming equipment, and other mechanised tools which he said if fully deployed will cultivate over 5 million hectares of agricultural land. The Fourth batch of Niger State pilgrims will be airlifted from kingdom of Saudi Arabia back home on Tuesday 24th June, 2024. The Pilgrims will be conveyed to the king Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah, in the morning by 11:am for takeoff to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna by 10:pm. The Mokwa Flood Relief Support Group has appealed for a concerted effort to end flood disaster and the attendant loss of lives and property in Mokwa Town. The appeal by the Group came in the wake of the flood disaster that occurred in the Town which claimed many lives and destroyed property worth billions of naira and rendered many homeless.
