The Ghanian Government has solicited partnership with Kebbi State Government on possible ways to boost rice production for the benefit of the two countries. The Ghanian Minister in-charge of Food and Agriculture, Mr Eric Opoku stated this during a courtesy visit on the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Sen. The Kebbi State Government says it has procured 200 houses for onward distribution to workers to ameliorate some of their housing needs. Gov. Nasir Idris disclosed this while addressing workers during the 2025 May Day celebration held in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday. He said the purchase of the houses was meant to improve the welfare of workers for effective and efficient service delivery.
