The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has applauded His Excellency, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for facilitating a smooth maiden edition of Umrah (Lesser Hajj) in the state. The Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor on International Donor Agencies, Dr Usman Buhari Ali Gwandu, has graciously distributed food items and reactivated Ramadan food centers in his Illelah community in Gwandu Local Government Area of Kebbi state. The Kebbi State Government has put all machineries in motion to adequately contain the outbreak of cerebrospinal meningitis in the state. The Commissioner for Health, Alhaji Yunusa Musa-Ismaila disclosed this while giving an update on the disease in a press conference in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.
