A total sum of N1.659 trillion, being May 2025 Federation Account Revenue, has been shared to the Federal Government, States and the Local Government Councils. The revenue was shared at the June 2025 Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting held in Abuja. The N1.659 trillion total distributable revenue comprised distributable statutory revenue of N863.895 billion, distributable Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of N691.714 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of N27.667 billion and Exchange Difference revenue of N76.614 billion. Kebbi State Government has disbursed additional N60 million to owners of buildings in Jega whose structures will be demolished to give way for the construction of a new dual carriage way. The Kebbi State Government has donated the sum of 50 million Naira to Timber Sellers’ Association, who lost their property following a fire incident. The Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project (ACReSAL) has given engineers handling the Mokwa Environmental Reclamation project a two-week deadline to submit a reverse engineering document that will guide the implementation of the initiative.
