The Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board has distributed 32kg bags to its pilgrims, as they prepare for their return journey to Nigeria next week. I saw children toiling under extreme conditions risking their lives for meager wages, trapped in a cycle of poverty and exploitation. Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru has identified Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes ACReSAL as key partner in addressing some of the environmental challenges in the State.
