The Kebbi State Government has appealed to the Federal Government to urgently come to its aid following devastating floods that hit the state. Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed-BK, the State Commissioner for Information made the plea in Birnin Kebbi while addressing a press conference on the magnitude of flood that wrecked havoc on people and their property across the state. The National Hydro-Electric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) has distributed 31 fibre glass boats across riverine communities of its member States.
