The Chief Press Secretary to the late Former Governor of Niger State, Engineer Abdulkadir Abdullahi Kure, Mahmud Abdullahi mnipr has continued the academic reward of Best Student in Further Mathematics instituted in honour of his late principal Minna.
Mahmud Abdullahi said the late engineer Abdulkadir Abdullahi Kure’s love and flair for further mathematics made him institute the tradition of rewarding the best students in the subject.
Mahmud Abdullahi who is also the Chairman of Nigerian Institute of
Public Relations Niger State Chapter emulating his late Boss, also
initiated Prestige FM Radio academic award of Best Student in
Literature-in-English, that will be observed annually in Abu Turab Islamic School.
While presenting the award of Best students in Further Mathematics on behalf of her late husband to the deserving student, Hafsat Muhammad at the sixteenth Graduation and Prize Giving Day held at the Abu Turab Islamic School Hall in Minna, Senator, Zainab Kure encouraged the
students to pursue academic excellence wholeheartedly.
The Prestige FM Radio Best Student in Literature-in-English Award was also presented to Hauwa Hasna Lawal by News Editor of Prestige
Radio, Onifade Abayomi.
The Best Student in Further Mathematics Hafsat Muhammad receives a Plaque Award and cash reward of filthy thousand Naira and the Best Student in Literature-in-English, Hauwa Hasna Lawal also received a Plaque and cash award of twenty thousand naira cash.
The Graduation and Prize Giving event was graced by the Wife of the
Governor, Ajiya Fatima Mohammed Bago, SEDI Director, Professor
Ndaliman, Rector of Niger State Polytechnic, traditional and religious
leader and other dignitaries from all works of life.
