Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago was among many eminent Nigerians that attended the Premiere stage production of Late Abibatu Mogaji, mother to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.
The Governor was thrilled with the stage play, written by playwright, Prof. Ahmed Yerima and produced by award-winning journalist, Ola Awakan.
The Premiere stage production of Late Abibatu Mogaji had the theme, “Motherhood, Resilience, and Legacy” depicting the life and times of the mother of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who died eleven years ago.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the event promised to invest in Nigeria’s Arts and Culture sector, adding that it is an essential part of education for children in particular and humanity in general.
President Tinubu, who shared fond memories of his late Mother, underscored the importance of Arts and Culture, explaining that it preserves Nigeria’s heritage and promotes rich cultural diversity.
