Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, congratulates the former State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Alh. Zakari Haliru Jikantoro, on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a board member of the North Central Development Commission NCDC.
In a congratulatory message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer governor, says the appointment of Alh. Jikantoro is a well-deserved and pleasing one.
He observes that the former Niger State APC Chairman, who had also served the state in different capacities, has demonstrated capacity, hard work, and commitment to the growth and development of the state.
The governor expresses confidence that Alh. Jikantoro has the wherewithal to make meaningful contributions on behalf of Niger State to address the challenges confronting the North-Central region, such as insecurity, infrastructural deficit, and women and youth empowerment, among others, to fast-track development of the region.
He assures him of his unflinching support to ensure success in providing quality representation of the state at the NCDC for the state, the North-Central region, and Nigeria in general.
The governor then appreciates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment, assuring that Niger State through Alh. Jikantoro will ensure the objective of the NCDC is achieved.
