Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has sympathised with the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shetima, over the demise of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Maryam Albishir.
The Governor expressed his deepest condolences through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim.
He observed that grooming the wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shetima into a respected and respectful personality speaks volumes of the high moral values of the deceased.
The Governor said her devotion to Allah and His will was never in doubt.
He then urged the Vice President to accept her demise as the will of Allah and be consoled by the fact that she lived a good life.
While praying to Allah to make Aljanna Firdausi the final abode of the deceased, Governor Umaru Bago also prayed for Allah’s comfort to the Vice President, his wife and all those affected by the loss.
