Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has continued to play host to sympathisers trooping into the residence of his Deputy for a condolence visit over the loss of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba.
Among the sympathisers were the Senator representing Niger South, Peter Ndalikali, Member representing Lavun/ Mokwa/ Edati Federal Constituency, Joshua Gana and former Niger State Deputy Governor, Ahmed Mohammed Ketso.
Others are former member representing Munya/Shiroro/ Rafi Federal Constituency, Muhammad Abdullahi, State Auditor General, Abdullahi Garba, members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Niger State Chapter, Traders Association of Nigeria, and Islamic Groups as well as several NGOs both from across the State.
Principal Officers from the Ministries of Health, Agriculture, Work, Transport, and Education were equally among the sympathisers.
Islamic Scholars from within and outside the State took turns to offer special prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased, used the medium to call on Muslims to always reflect and re-examine themselves as well as ensure they live their lives in total submission to Allah.
