The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has appointed the outgoing Acting Head of Service (HoS), Hajiya A’isha Usman as Special Adviser (SA) on Budget.
The outgoing HoS disclosed this in Birnin Kebbi on Monday shortly after handing over the office to the most senior Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Malami Mohammed-Shekari.
While appreciating the governor for finding her worthy of the position, Usman pledged to justify the confidence reposed in her by actively contributing her quota to the development of the state.
She said the appointment came to her as a surprise in view of the fact that she had neither knowledge of it nor did she expected it.
“This is marvelous, I lack words show the level of happiness in me, I pray God Almighty to reward His Excellency, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu with the best of reward,” she noted.
Usman advised the incoming acting HoS to carry all manner of people along in the discharge of his responsibilities towards achieving his set goals and objectives.
The outgoing HoS urged the civil servants in the state to give the incoming acting HoS all the necessary support and cooperation to succeed.
