Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris has pledged his administration’s sustained support to Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency towards smooth Hajji exercise throughout his tenure.
The governor gave the assurance on Thursday during an interactive meeting with religious leaders and traditional rulers in three Local Government Areas of Kalgo, Jega and Aliero.
Gov. Idris visited the three councils to thank the people of the area for given him the mandate to govern the state.
He explained that his administration would continue to support all the state intending pilgrims willing to perform the spiritual obligations.
“It is worthy to note that I supported the pilgrims during the last year’s Hajji exercise especially in the payment of Hadaya (sacrificial ram) among other supports.
“In Sha Allah throughout my tenure, I will continue to assist the intending pilgrims towards ensuring smooth Hajj exercise in the Holy land,” he said.
The governor assured the readiness of his administration to further strengthen the cordial relationship with the masses to facilitate good governance.
He assured his administration’s commitment to continue to provide dividends of democracy to the people of Kebbi State.
Also speaking, the Sarki Kabin Jega, Alhaji Arzika Bawa thanked the governor for what he has been doing to the people of jega Local Government in particular and the state at large.
