Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago commiserates with the family of Late Alh. Abubakar Achituwo Tanko, former Minister of State Interior and Foreign Affairs who passed away in Abuja.
The Governor in a condolence message through his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim describes the passing away of Alh. Achituwo as saddening as Niger State and Nigeria has lost a rare gem whose vacuum will be hard to fill.
Governor Umaru Bago prays Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdausi and prays the family members take solace in Allah who gives and takes life at his will.
He extols the virtues of the deceased and says, he contributed immensely to the growth and development of not only Niger State but Nigeria in general when he served as Minister of State Interior and Foreign Affairs.
The Late Alh. Abubakar Achituwo Tanko who is also the Na’ibin Kontagora is the father-in-law to the Permanent Secretary, Niger State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Garba Nuhu Ngaski.
