Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has assured that his administration is working towards fixing Water works to ensure adequate provision of pipe-borne water for the people.
The Governor, while speaking at the Workers Day celebration in Minna, acknowledged the water difficulties faced by the people.
He revealed that currently, existing non-functional water facilities are being replaced across all major towns, stressing that Government is desirous to making basic amenities accessible and better life for all citizens.
The Governor called on the people to exercise more patience pointing out that sometimes, it is necessary to let go somethings and endure temporary hardship in order to build better ones.
He promised that in no distant time water scarcity will be a thing of the past in the State.
